- June 14th 2009: The 6th Annual Rhode Island Firefighter’s Memorial Service, sponsored by E.G.V.F.A., will be held at 8:00am on the lawn of the club, overlooking Greenwich Cove. The service will include music by the Rhode Island Professional Firefighter’s Pipes and Drums. Immediately following the service will be a breakfast reception for all who attend the memorial service. A signup sheet will be posted on the bulletin board at the club the beginning of May. Please sign up if you plan on attending the Memorial Service and Breakfast Reception. This is open to all members of the club. NOTE: Any member who is an active/retired paid/volunteer firefighter that has a Class A or Class B uniform from any department may participate in the firefighter procession in uniform.
